Wow
What a fucking game!

I'm happy for Bruce Arians. He deserves this win. I can't wait to watch the Seahawks beat their ass in the championship game!

Surreal watching teams celebrate like that in these meaningful games when the team you root for has done next to nothing or cracked under pressure the few times we got within a whiff of postseason success the past 20 years.

I was just thinking, does GB consider this a great season? They won one playoff game just like we did last year, but somehow I doubt they're as pleased with themselves as Jason and the Jones boys who act like we finally broke through and accomplished something amazing.

I'm not even an Arizona fan but damn I was watching that game and cheering like I was a homer!

What a killer game

I can't even remember what it feels like to be able to root for the Cowboys and experience that type of enjoyment out of a single game

No they don't
They will look back at how they faltered most of the season and get to work on fixing the problems

Unlike Garret who would be clapping in the locker room after that loss and telling the team how it was a moral victory

Unable to just put them the fuck AWAY when you have 1st down 2:37 left and the opponent has no time outs was very Dallas-like. All they had to do was run the ball 3 times there and if that doesn't produce the 1st down they only have 30 seconds to work with not the full 2 minutes they got.

Anything short of a SuperBowl is going to fall short in the mindset of most if not all teams. But as a fan of this glorified shitstorm of a team I would take their short comings in a heart beat. 15 playoff appearances / 3 Superbowls with 2 Titles in the past 20 years is pretty impressive compared to our meager fledgling success. Can't win em all every year but it would be nice to constantly be in the hunt.

Absurd that it even went into OT, but Rodgers is a cold-blooded assassin. Retarded to send the house against him instead of flooding the end zone with defenders. As a result, Janis only had to outleap one defender.

Insane to think what a hell of a 2005' 1st round that could have been with Ware and Rodgers selected.

Rodgers would not have a ring. And he wouldn't be as highly regarded in Dallas because of our shit coaching and terrible offensive scheme.

He'd be almost Romo like, IMO.

I seriously doubt Rodgers career would have taken a similar path here in Dallas.

He wouldn't have had the opportunity to learn as sat behind a great QB like Farve as long as he did

He would have had Garret as a QB coach so his development would have been for not

Then he'd end up with Garret as a HC

hell with all that against him he might of turned out to be another bust

Now that I think about it maybe it's not the QB's we've selected over the years. Maybe it's just our system that creates shitty QB's

I think the sitting behind Favre thing is a bit overrated. Rodgers is a great QB. I doubt playing earlier would have stunted his development.

The faith in Garret to developed a QB is strong with this one!

This conversation could go in several different directions. Far from a Romo hater as the majority of the shortcomings of this crumpled mess should not lie on his shoulders. How successful would this team have been with Rodgers under center is anyone's guess. But yes I do think this team would have been more successful with Rodgers at the helm regardless of the extent this team has been held hostage by incompetent figureheads.

You can play these "what if" games forever. What if we had grabbed Montana in the 3rd round in '79. What if SF didn't move up in the draft to snag Jerry Rice one spot ahead of us. Neither of those guys would have had similar careers/success had they landed in Big D.
