Hmmm.....
They've been playing home games at the U of Minnesota stadium the last two seasons, the metrodome got condemned and their new stadium will be ready next season and is home to Soup Bow 52.Late to the party but I thought Minnesota had a domed stadium, why are they playing outdoors?
And "laces out" is fundamental to the kicking game, has been for decades, and they even start teaching it in Pop Warner. It is incomprehensible to me the holder was allowed to continue doing that. Sure enough, the laces caught the shoe and you have a sharp hook.the holder had plenty of time to position the ball correctly (laces out). strange that he didn't.
As long as they eliminate the Fudge Packers, I am a happy camper.I hate Washington so much, but I hope they somehow win it all.
too much of a coward to dive head first

Game was lost because a most basic fundamental was not coached. Lack of attention to detail can kill ya.

Because for the longer kick he got lucky, and hit the ball strictly below the laces. Each time I saw "laces in" I expected a hook, especially for the shorter kicks.Kicker drilled a laces out kick from over 40 yards earlier in the game.
That was actually a INSIDE hook, as the ball was on the outside hash. It hooked left because the kicker's foot hit the laces of the ball, and he was trying to get a little bit of hook anyway. The final kick was missed because the plant foot was too close to the ball, hence the outside hook.
