Schefter: Cowboys offered Seahawks 2nd- and 3rd-round picks for their 1st to trade up for Paxton Lynch, per @toddarcher. Broncos' offer trumped it.

Schefter: Dallas also considered trading 4th overall pick to Baltimore for Ravens' 1 and 4, but Cowboys balked at end, nervous they wouldn't get RB.

Did they happen to say what the offer was?

Havent seen that yet. On the trade chart (which obviously nobody adheres to 00%) it says 6 to 4 is worth 200 pts, which equates to a mid 3rd rd pick. Baltimore's 3rd was worth 240.

If the Cowboys had settled on two guys (which has been the story for a couple days or so now) then moving from 4-6 doesn't guarantee you'll get one of those guys. It would have sucked to move back and then have Baltimore either 1) take the guy we ended up with or 2) take the guy we wanted and then watch Jax trade down with someone who wanted Elliott.

Jones apparently claims that Baltimore admitted they were coming up for Elliott and that's why he turned the deal down. Another post I saw said Baltimore wanted Ramsey.

The article I saw a little earlier said we offered our 2nd and 4th. Then Denver gave their 1st and 3rd.

But even if we had offered 2+3, that equaled more pts than Denver's 1+3. Technically that would have been a better deal for Seattle even though they'd have went to 34. Our 3rd was 28 spots higher than Denver's.
