Really like Elliott but picking him at 4 was a reach. Jones mishandles yet another draft. It's why we lose, he likes shiny objects and has no clue how to build an overall roster. Baltimore wanted to move up, so did other teams. Gurley is a far better prospect and went 10th, and next year's RB class is loaded.

Totally agree, cmd. Love EE as a player and have for well over a year now. But I don't think he's a #4 overall guy. If we had to have him, I can't understand why we couldn't have at least traded to #10 or so and picked up an extra pick or two. I don't think anyone in there would have taken him.

Butler and Star Lotallloiauiuo is going to be a hell of a tackle tandem.

Totally agree, cmd. Love EE as a player and have for well over a year now. But I don't think he's a #4 overall guy. If we had to have him, I can't understand why we couldn't have at least traded to #10 or so and picked up an extra pick or two. I don't think anyone in there would have taken him.

I don't think they had many offers to be honest.

Mistake.

Baltimore was apparently wanting Elliott, which is why we didn't trade. We also know the Fish were trying hard to move up for Elliott and supposedly Giant people were disappointed when we got him.

Next years RB class doesn't help us any this yr. Elliott helps this team immensely now. Ramsey wasn't going to help this team more than Elliott.

Reports said Baltimore wanted him. Miami was wanting to move up for him too.
