Just watching the replay and the defender gets separation by pushing off. I'm figuring Dez thought it was a no-brainer and was counting on the flag. Dumb ass.

Wow
The 1-7 Lions just blocked the game winning field goal that would have been the go ahead score for the Packers

The Pack has lost three in a row

Didn't see that coming

Maybe the game against the Packers won't be an automatic loss like we all originally thought
I don't even think it was blocked. Mason Crosby is the shittiest good kicker in the game. He makes a good percentage, but once a month or so he totally fucks one up.

Pretty sure thats not correct.

In the NFL, the defender may make continuous contact with receiver within the first five yards of the line of scrimmage. Anything after that is penalized as illegal contact. Pass interference is called if the defensive player contacts the offensive player while he is trying to catch the pass, unless the defender has turned his head to face the oncoming pass and is attempting to intercept it. Accidental, glancing contact is not penalized.

Do you even understand what the definition of pass interference is?

Defensive player contacting a receiver with the ball in the air. That PASS INTERFERENCE

I have no problem saying we probably would have failed to scored a TD from the one, this team is full of fail.

But that was definitely a penalty on the Bucs DB that should have been called.

Apparently you don't understand the definition of pass interference

Otherwise just about every single forwards pass in the NFL would be considered pass interference

Unless the receiver catches the ball in open field with no defender is near him to touch/contact him

Again, in your opinion what IS Pass interference? What IS illegal contact?

The ball was in there air. The pass WAS catchable. The defender pushed the receiver with TWO hands.

That's PI dude. At the worst its illegal contact because its well beyond 5 yds (or are you going to dispute that too?)

I didn't see him push off. Yes he had contact with Dez,. But he didn't push off from what I saw and from what the refs on the field a few feet away from the play

Nor did the ref, the line judge who had the best view and neither did the announcers

I know you want it to be a PI so you can feel we were wronged once again and didn't just lose another game from our own ineptitude

But even I can admit as a Cowboy fan that it was a legal play. And I'm usually the first one to jump down the refs throat when I feel we are being screwed over

Dude, we just lost to a rookie qb who was shit the whole game. We lost to Bradford last week.

How the fuck is this shit defense going to stop Rodgers.

Oh hell nah, the Cowboys will be just what GB doctors ordered to right their ship.

Romo will probably never make it out of the Miami game anyway

Dude, quit being a stooge and read what I have been saying then. Probably 20+ posts in this game thread saying how miserable I thought the team was.

I'm not saying we will beat the Packers, I'm just saying that that game doesn't look as daunting as it did a few weeks ago when the Packers were undefeated

They did just lose to the Lions who were 1-7 and who had the worst record in the NFL (right behind us)

Now we have the dubious honor of being tied for last place

Actually when they showed the 2nd or 3rd replay, the announcer says "does he get away with one there?" and Lynch then says "there was contact"

The live angle it doesn't look like much. The other angle its pretty clear. There's contact and it gave the DB an advantage.

Dez was stupid for not making more effort, but he clearly believed it was an OBVIOUS call and indicates it from the 2nd the ball goes over him.

Its either PI or illegal contact, it definitely wasn't "nothing"

In an NFL almost unfairly slanted toward offense, the Romo-less #Cowboys have been held without a TD in 3 of their last 5 games.

Every drop/miss Dez had today he looked at the ref and motioned for some form of call from him

He always thinks there should be a call when he drops a ball or doesn't make a catch

Occasionally he is correct and there was PI

today was not one of those days
