:lol

Yep, there's one.

Also, first question of the day was how open they were to trading draft picks for players (thinking of Peterson, obviously). Jerry then said it was very unlikely because at this time of year players are undervalued and picks are overvalued. Um, wouldn't that make it a great time to trade a pick for a player?

Heard that too... I guess he could be referring to acquiring draft picks for a player, and say that all teams see it that way. Would make sense that he wouldn't want to overpay for Adrian, but at the same time would want another team to overpay for one of our players.

Send Claiborne, Wilber, Randle, a 2015 4th, and a 2016 pick based on performance to the Vikings for Peterson and be done with it.

They dump a headache and high salary, we become a real super bowl threat. Done and done.

Randle is about to get suspended I think, I thought I read his court case (domestic violence too?) was due to come to a decision this week.

Jerry said trading out of 1st rd was real option.

Also floated the idea if taking another OL in 1st rd. It isnt the first time this offseason he has put that out there either.

TJ Clemmings would give us beast bookend tackles for the next decade.

We'd have JAG's running the ball and no one playing defense, but still..

Jerry Jones says he has been listed as a co-signer on Dez Bryant's checks, something he has never done for any other player.

Ummm, why??

Police Want to Question La'el Collins Following Former Girlfriend's Shooting Death

Adam Schefter, NFL

Police are seeking to question La'el Collins following the shooting death of a pregnant woman last week, but the former LSU offensive lineman is not considered a suspect, Baton Rouge police Lt. Jonny Dunnam told ESPN.

Brittany Mills, 29, is believed by police to be a former girlfriend of Collins. Police said Collins is not believed to be a suspect in the shooting, only that they want to talk to him to see if he can provide them with information.

Collins' attorney, Jim Boren, told police his client is in Chicago getting ready for the NFL draft. But Boren told ESPN he has been in constant contact with the lead detective on the case and he spoke with the district attorney Tuesday.

"We took the investigation seriously," Boren said from his offices Tuesday. "We've tried to rule him out as a suspect. We're going to provide that information to the police, and ultimately [Collins] will sit down and talk to them. But the timing is poor."

Mills was found shot to death in her apartment Friday night by police, who rushed her to the hospital, where her infant was delivered.

Boren said he has retained the services of a private investigative firm to help him prove that Collins was not close to Mills' home when she was murdered.

"We have identified where La'el was the day the lady was murdered to establish he was nowhere around," Boren told ESPN. "We have offered to give names, witnesses who can vouch for his whereabouts that day until after the woman's body was discovered. We believe that when [police] have verified that information, that they will rule him out as a suspect in the homicide, just as I believe he should be."

Collins is projected to be a first-round pick in the draft, which begins Thursday. Sources told ESPN a handful of teams have become aware of the incident and would like to know if police determine that Collins is the father of the infant who was delivered after Mills' death. The baby still is receiving medical treatment.

Police told the Baton Rouge Advocate newspaper that investigators believe, from a preliminary investigation, that Mills opened her door to someone who wanted to use her car and was shot multiple times after she refused.

Neighbors said they heard two gunshots about 10:30 p.m. Friday. They said the door to Mills' apartment was ajar when police arrived.

That's a bizarre story. Not saying he did anything, but if the cops want to question him, he's at least a person of interest.

Really like this kid for us at RB. Would obviously love Gurley and would be happy with Gordon (along with some others) but this kid could be special too in our offense behind our OL.

If we don't get one at 27 (or shortly after via trade down) then this guy at 60 I think would be really solid for us too.

3rd rd value if we don't get RB in round 1 or 2. Probably wont be a superstar but could be dependable, move the chains, get 1200+ yds and 12 tds, catch 40 passes or so for several yrs type back, especially with our OL

Every yr it seems there is a player (sometimes two) that are just overhyped beyond belief by fans (especially CZers).

This yr without questions that player is this turd Dorial Green Beckham. He hasnt played in over a yr. He's had multiple run ins with the law. He got kicked out of a major university. Despite what some claim to be other-worldly physical ability he averaged an ordinary 14.7 yds per catch. Some reviews of him say he is a one or two route guy, cant read a defense for option routes, doesnt have a real quick get off, is incredibly lazy and football & book stupid.

Yet to read some of the junk on CZ about him, you'd think he was Jerry Rice/Randy Moss/Calvin Johnson all rolled into one and that he is the most dominant player in the history of football. It's ridiculous. I doubt most of thsoe commenting on him ever saw him play even one game at Missouri before he was thrown out.

Somebody asked me in here what players I would be angry over drafting, this guy is clearly one of them. I wouldnt waste any of our picks on him.
