Street is a good player. Value where we got him.
Wont surprise me at all if he's our #3 guy at some point this year.
Detroit picked up DT Caraun Reid, which is a player the Cowboys could have used.
Philadelphia picked up S Ed Reynolds, a FS type which is good value in this round. Yet another player the Cowboys could have used at a position of need.
Yeah what the fuck were Cowboys doing drafting a top end OL, top end pass rusher and value 3rd WR
All those were wasted picks. Probably didn't get shit for this year. We shouldn't have even participated.
These picks are not mutually exclusive. Why are you acting like they are? I am pointing out the type of players smart teams draft instead of FA LBs in the fourth like we pick.
It's one thing to support a team, but it's another to wear blinders. You are almost as bad as Mickey.
Nobody in this forum melted down like I did about the 4th rd pick, so shut the fuck up with the "mickey" shit.
But the fact is the other 3 picks were good IMO (and the opinion of most) and will almost assuredly help the team this yr and beyond.
It started great and has gradually gone down hill.Don't think it's been a bad draft and I'm far from a homer
Hitchens is a perfect example of exactly what's wrong with this Front Office.
Jerry wants to outsmart everyone because he believes he is some kind of football savant. The problem is that there is no real accountability when these decisions go bad, over and over again.
There is too big of a fanbase that buys into the Jerry is a genius hype and cheer him or high five him every time they see him. Plus, the money aspect. In his mind, he's a success and the football failures are just bad luck.
Jerry's mission statement to his scouts is to find guys no one is talking about.
If McClay is responsible for this pick I hope he's held accountable when Hitchens flames out. That was as big a reach as Matt Johnson was.
I don't believe in Lawrence. At all. And the kind of production we'd have to see from him to justify two (relatively high) draft picks is, imo, farfetched.
