At the time of his hiring:
* he hadn't coached football in 6 years
* he had never coached or worked in the NFL
* his last team ran the NFL friendly wishbone offense
* our star quarterback hated him
* no college team would touch him due to the NCAA violations and legal issues at Oklahoma
Why exactly would you hire this guy to run your NFL team?

Barry Switzer - no qualifications to run a NFL team
Chan Gailey - first time Head Coach
Dave Campo - simply embarrassing
Wade Phillips - great DC and nice guy but not a Head Coach
Jason Garrett - ices own kicker, mismanages games, publicly gilded
