We owned those fuckers in the 90's..at one point I think we had won 8 straight against them counting the playoffs

I went to the Dallas/GB game in 1999 and we won without Troy, Emmitt or Irvin playing. After the game Ron Wolf was seen on the sideline ripping into Ray Rhodes

I remember that game. The future Tom Landry was quarterbacking.

If I remember correctly, Bret Farve never won a game here in Dallas. Was that the game shania twain filmed a concert afterwards?

Yep, Favre never won at Texas Stadium IIRC

And yep, that was the Shania Twain thing afterward. She was freaking hot.

Wonder why pat summerall and john madden were not calling this game.

That game was early in the 1993 season. We were coming off the super bowl win, but GB had been bad fairly mediocre to bad for several seasons before. 1993 was the first season they made the playoffs under Holmgren/Favre (and we beat them in the playoffs that yr too, first of 3 straight years we ended their season)

This particular game we blew them out bad. I think Eddie Murray kicked 5 fg's that day, most of them from PAT distance

Flynn will make them look equally as bad.

This team found a way to make Christian Ponder look good.

Sure, this defense will be bad on a consistent basis. Their best hope is that they will somehow take advantage of the occasional opportunities for turnovers.

As bad as the defense was against the Bears, the Cowboys defense had a couple of interception opportunities that were squandered. Had those interceptions been made, it would have been a different game. I'm not saying that the Cowboys would have won, but it would have been a closer game that the Cowboys might have had a chance to win.

As bad as the defense is, opposing QBs usually aren't perfect, and so the defense will have chances to end drives via turnovers.

dbair knows his Cowboys history. That's for sure.

He's our own little Rain Man.

That was his first game after replacing Lin Elliot. He made all his kicks, including a 50 yarder. Not bad for an old fart.
