Hard to say. New England uses TE's and slot receivers mostly. Outside receivers are an afterthought to them.

Brandon Lloyd went for nearly 1,000 last year. Could have gone for more if Brady didn't miss him on deep bombs over and over again. I'm sure Dez would kill there.

I've read Sampson is pretty highly regarded among scouts.

Jarvis Jones ran a 4.92 40 at his Pro Day. Put up 20 reps. 9'4" broad jump. Very underwhelming numbers.

Damn, we could have a shot at either him or Damontre Moore at 18 now.

Cooper Taylor ran a 4.45 40, benched 225, 23 times, jumped 36.5", and clocked a 4.2 short shuttle.

Pretty impressive for a dude who stands 6'4" nearly 230.

He could be the John Lynch of this defense.

We attended Cal Lutheran's Pro Day to get a peak at WR prospect Eric Rogers. His times:

4.55 40, 4.48 at his Pro Day
9 reps
37" vert
10'1" broad jump

I like Cooper Taylor. But 6'4... that's to tall for a safety I think To be effective at least. Yeah the 4.45 is impressive in straight line speed, but how is he stopping and going, and changing direction? That's where it would seem his height would work agaisnt him.
