This is where I'd love to compare to other war room cams. When a trade is presented there has to be a discussion, but why are you trying to "sell" people on picks at this point. You should pretty much just go by your board. After months of discussion leading up to this, I don't see why there are so many last minute decisions.

Seems to happen every single year that a puppet head coach is here. JJ turns the draft into a huge dramatic reality show instead of what it's actually intended for.

Escobar will eat Thomas alive. Who would have a tough time beating Church in a footrace, btw.

I was about to post the same things after seeing some of the clips they played. He looks like he is stuck in the mud when he runs. I really had no idea he was that slow.

This draft is all about replacing high priced vets guys..are y'all blind?

Williams - Austin
Webb - scandrick
Esco - Witten

We don't have money...first two will be gone next year..Witten probably has more time than that

Is that what it's all about?

Shit, I was kind of hoping for a draft that would replace the shitty guys currently on the roster.

Austin isn't going anywhere next year. Cap hit of $7.8M to cut him, cap hit of $8.2M to keep him. If this team hadn't fucked around and restructured every year, his contract would be a steal from this point forward.

Without restructures, his cap hit next year is $5.5M....no cap hit to cut.

Without restructures, his cap hit in 2014 is $6.8M.....no cap hit to cut.

And Scandrick probably isn't going anywhere either. $5.7M to cut, $5.6M to keep. Could have cut him without restructuring. Would have been $1.2M to cut him after this year (as opposed to $4.1M to keep). $600K to cut him after next year, as opposed to $5.6M to keep.

And Witten? He's going to have to be dragged off the field. I bet he plays through Escobar's rookie contract.

Kirin was just on the radio saying he would like us to get linebacker help.

Broaddus said Monday there are a bunch of local guys and Udfa guys we really like at linebacker.

One was an smu lb, can't remember the name

I don't think that is what it was about at all.

I see Williams as playing the role Robinson did, Escobar replacing Bennett and Frederick replacing costa or livings.

I don't think Austin gets cut nor witten.

Yeah, I think Jerry gets a kick out of being the gatekeeper that everyone has to go and convince to take "their" guy. I think he enjoys sort of passing out picks, like Callahan, you got yours. Now Kiffin and Henderson, your turn. Etc.

It appears that the Cowboys are really sticking to their board...or are building a team like the old Manning Colts teams. High powered offense with a defense built to play with a lead. It does worry me they are not addressing the d-line.

Go put your hand in a bucket we could use the wood to make a bridge

Seriously, what is it?

It looks like a pizza minus all the toppings that's oddly shaped with a single cut down the middle giving the thing the overall appearance of a sloppy, cellulose-filled, pockmarked ass.

I hope that is not the mentality. Drafting backups.

That's fucking depressing.
