I don't know what they saw in the OL as far as being able to play this year/Bust.

Somewhat surprising pick, but he is a good player I think. I would have preferred DL though. Wonder if they would have taken Short there.

I think it also says two other things:

1) Vickers role in the offense (which was a massive failure last yr) is pretty much done.

2) They apparently dont like Hanna all that much.

And then the reasons they probably wont say, but Witten being a 5-star players days are probably growing short. His injury last year was very serious and he just never quite looked the same to me afterward. Whether it was the injury or maybe all the wear and tear, he does seem to be slowing down and isnt the threat downfield he once was.

I think they like him, just know his limitations.

Plus it's pretty obvious that the 2-TE offense will go back to being our staple and you can never have enough good TEs to run it.

We did that last nigh and you guys cried then too

This offense sucks. We scored 10 pts + at HT once all year. Fuckin right I'll take a TE that's a matchup nightmare

I don't think that's true. TE is a big part of our offense and with Witten slowing down we may need both in case he's injured.
