I get why we didn't get more for our trade.

We had no leverage. We called them, most likely.

Clearly we didn't like anyone available at 18.... and clearly passing on Floyd wasn't that big a deal because he's still available. Hell, I thought his film was average at best.

So.... I guess I can't hate the trade down. I wish we got more, but I rather we traded down than settled for someone there we weren't in love with.

They were on the phones multiple times. Dont know with who or what was talked about obviously, but it seemed like they were talking to a few teams. I counted at least 4 or 5 times I think before we went on the clock.

I'm glad we traded down, but it would have been a far better deal had we gotten another pick from them (or their 2nd instead of the Carolina 3rd)
