Not enough in return considering the 8th pick would be a bad spot for me. There is more value in either keeping Blackmon or going farther down and getting more attractive picks for him.

I'm not too sure we want to trade players, even players rights here. That was just a unique situation where the GM wasn't able to make his own pick and signed on shortly afterwards and we wanted to allow the Redskins GM to get the player he really wanted.
