So we picked up a TE off waivers, since we were short TE's, and he isn't going to be active Week 1 ?

He said yesterday the playbook is completely different. Sounded-like he was having a problem with it on such short notice.

Came from grudens offense which is the bill Walsh terminology.

I bet he is resigned next week.

Would it really shark anyone if Hannah caught 6 passes for like 54 yards and our offense keeps things moving?

Not difficult to imagine, is it?

Inactive predictions: Holmes, Witten, Ratliff, Cochart, Wilber, Arkin, and Johnson. Dressing 8 OL, 2 TE, with Parnell 3rd TE for jumbo?

Makes perfect sense.

Right. On the DC.com video, he seemed like a nice guy who expected to play special teams immediately and who needed more time with the playbook (playPad?) before playing offense.

GIANTS 27, COWBOYS 24
Cowboys can't stop Eli Manning when it matters most.

Calvin
Watkins
(0-0)

GIANTS 27, COWBOYS 20
Cowboys secondary is improved, but Eli Manning is better than the Cowboys secondary.

Jean-Jacques
Taylor

GIANTS 24, COWBOYS 16
Until I see the Cowboys' re-built offensive line stop the Giants' pass rush, I don't believe it can.

Todd

GIANTS 24, COWBOYS 16
Cowboys keep it close but can't come up with the big plays on offense.

Richard

GIANTS 24, COWBOYS 20
Dallas puts up a good fight, but the Giants offense goes on late drive to win it at home.

Jeff "Skin"
Wade

COWBOYS 31, GIANTS 27
It'll be a big play-oriented game where both teams play at a high level. THIS is the way to kickoff an NFL season.

COWBOYS 31, GIANTS 17
The Giants, suffering from their Super Bowl hangover, will be no match for Rob Ryan's D in the year of the Romo.

Randy

GIANTS 24, COWBOYS 21
The game is up there and the Giants are going to be a shade better.

GIANTS 24, COWBOYS 20
Giants' front seven is still the best in the NFL and they're going up against a Cowboys O-line that will be playing its first game together. Get the ice tub ready for Romo.

GIANTS 28, COWBOYS 27
Cowboys cover! Cowboys cover!

COWBOYS 24, GIANTS 23
The Giants' front four are healthy and that's scary. I don't know the Cowboys' identity yet and that's the bottom line.

GIANTS 31, COWBOYS 20
Cowboys have no clue how to stop Eli.

We are the Washington generals.

No chance.

Yeah, that's what they were implying.

Ridiculous.

Giants were a 9-7 team, just like us.

And they've had great defensive lines for years, yet we've still averaged 28 points a game against them dating back to 2007.

That was the only similarity. They've owned us of late, they're the defending champs, and we're playing in their house. That alone should make the Gmen the favorites. That said, we have too much talent to get blown out, and most of those scribes seem to agree.

^^^ this

Not even suggesting anything will be different.

But we haven't lost to them bc of our oline.

Romo threw for like 330 and 4 TDs in the first game and we still lost.

Almost threw for 300 in game 2...

They've been beating us bc our secondary was horrid. We will see if anything has changed tomorrow

They've owned us because our secondary has been horrid.

We've upgraded.

Allegedly. Sensy is still a big ball of meh, and I have no idea how Claiborne and Church are gonna play. And don't get me started on Scandrick.
