I do hate them. I hate the Ravens too though.

Hating one team or not has nothing to do with how I feel about the play. And the freaking replay has been posted right here for both of you whiners to see, and you are still complaining. Jimmy H would be proud.

You don't talk about Coach Jim like that!

Pretty sure they have been saying on TV for several years now that you can pretty much do what you want within 5 yds.

And BB's replay angle doesnt show any grabbing of the jersey by the DB. It does show him being very physical and chucking him non stop within the first 5 yds.

Haha, you can’t do ANYTHING you want inside 5 yards. Wow

Within this five-yard zone, a defensive player may chuck an eligible player in front of him. A defensive player is allowed to maintain continuous and unbroken contact within the five-yard zone until a point when the receiver is even with the defender

short of actually tackling the guy, I believe the interpretation and what we are told almost weekly in game broadcasts is DB's can be pretty much as physical as they want within 5 yards

I dont have a rule book in front of me, but since you do...what is the rule on defensive holding? The rule you posted did not say holding or ANYTHING was allowed!

What does Defensive Holding Mean?

A penalty on the defense that is flagged when a defensive player uses his hands to pull and hold the opposing offensive player while outside the five-yard mark of the line of scrimmage.

Definition: Use of the hands to hold or push an offensive receiver or back on a passing play beyond the first five yards past the line of scrimmage.

Also Known As: Illegal Use of Hands

Examples:
Inside the five yard chuck zone, the defense may jam the receiver, but after that a penalty is called. Defensive holding results in a five-yard penalty on the offending team and an automatic first down.

He's definitely the #1 crybaby in the NFL, and nobody is even close.

I've never seen anyone cry and whine to refs as much as he does, ever.

I rewatched the full play and noticed that the ball was at the 5 yard line, the contact happened right around the goal line and continued about 2 or 3 yards into the endzone. The ball was also thrown and contact by the DB was still being made well past 5 yards which should have made it pass interference.

I honestly can't see how that hit on Crabtree was not called. How is it not a penalty and if it's not a penalty because the guy had possession and was able to protect himself, how the fuck isn't it a fumble?

How is there anything in between? Not enough time to rule it a fumble but also enough time for him to be considered a runner and thus negate the hit square to the helmet?

Doesn't make any sense.

the ball wasnt catchable and the only PI that could have been called would have been on Crabtree
