As a Cowboy fan, I would be way more impressed if we had come out and beat one of those teams by 3 TDs than playing shitty for 3 quarters and good for one, like we have been.

Which game inspired confidence in you?

Vs the #1 seed season where the Cowboys blew out a number of teams. I had tons of confidence only to get my heart ripped out and shat on.

Having any confidence in this generation of Cowboys teams is probably a recipe for diarrhea.

True enough.

I just don't see how we can all of a sudden think this team is being consistently good. I think we're playing about the same as we were the first 8 games, we've just ended up winning in the end instead of shitting the bed in the last drive or two.

Credit to the team for pulling out the close ones in the last drives instead of committing dumb penalties, turning the ball over, or having poor clock management. Maybe winning all these close ones will bode well for closing it out against good teams. We've done it against Cincy and Pit now. But we pretty much know every game is going to be down to the wire.

Problem is that we're always on the wrong side of those two plays and we lose.

I think he'll be a good head coach but he's just having to learn on the job for some reason. I don't get it, but he is learning.

He's been on the job since 2007. He was the OC---but he had more autonomy than any other OC. He was a Co-HC.
