Yes, we would technically be in "first place" based on better division record. And we control our own destiny if Washington and NYG both lose today, and we win.

Here are the tie breaker rules:

Two Clubs

1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5.Strength of victory.
6.Strength of schedule.
7.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9.Best net points in common games.
10.Best net points in all games.
11.Best net touchdowns in all games.
12.Coin toss

Three or More Clubs

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).
1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).

Saints put FS Malcolm Jenkins and OL Charles Brown on IR today.

Brown had only started about half the games this yr at RT, but Jenkins is a pretty big loss for them.

Quality football Sunday for us in terms of our playoff chances:

Most important- beat the fucking Stealers

Falcons beat NYG
Browns beat Redskins
Packers beat Bears
Bills beat Seahawks

The one game I am a little unsure of is the 7-6 Vikings at the 6-6-1 Rams. We will have not have a head to head tie breaker with either, but the Rams have a better conference record right now than us (or Minnesota) at 5-3-1. The Rams play at Tampa and then at Seattle to finish the season. The Vikes have the same conference record as us at 5-5, and their final two games are at Houston and home vs Green Bay

The Rams probably have the better chance of winning out, and 9-6-1 would get them an edge over us if we finished 9-7.

Beat the steelers?

lol lol lol bwahahahahahahahaha lol lol lol

that would make these idiots winners of 5 out of the last 6 games. This team isn't good enough to win 3 in a row, or 5 out of 6.

I think the crowd will be really pumped. I hope Doug Free's not playing. He's great at making them do a 180.

Damn Mo Claiborne is OUT...Still KO'd

Is this confirmed?

Big loss if he doesnt play, although jenkins is a capable backup. problem will be when they go to 5-6 DB's and they have to use all these other guys they've been signing.

Hopefully Peprah can play today. He's the one safety we have that sorta has a clue in pass coverage.
