The problem is that we have the best QB since Aikman, best RB since Emmitt, best TE since Novacek, best WR tandem since either Irvin and I'm drawing a blank on the other guy, which ironically, he went to play for the Bucs... and Jones feels that with this core, he can put any Oline in front of them.
I wonder if that's because Jerry's first experience was an OL built of an undrafted USFL refugee(Newton), an undrafted converted defensive lineman (Tunei), a discarded Raider (Gesek), a small, try-hard center (Stepnoski), and a small school find (Erik Williams).
Maybe Jerry feels you can find O linemen anywhere and doesn't put any kind of priority on it.
