If you trade him, you don't necessarily get better on the field. Jenkins only had one down year and is a proven product (health notwithstanding). I don't take the "move to safety" rumor seriously.

its not even a rumor, just some stuff from his scouting reports in 2008...here were at least 2 or 3 draft summaries that mentioned he could end up at FS and might be excellent there because of his ball skills and speed

Is the team really this down on Jenkins. I thought he is a pretty solid player who showed some guts playing hurt last year

We can't keep drafting first rounders that don't work out
By the way, Brandon Carr called this via his twitter earlier today. Didnt name Claiborne but said SEC DB

Too many holes to package picks for 1 player, IMO.

Instead of 1-3 potential starters this year, you're looking at probably 1. Maybe zero if this ****** kills himself opening up a jar of mayo.

Pretty soon here, I'd think about finding a way to get back into the 1st. Fuck the 2nd.

Will definitely costs us at least a 3rd and our 2013 #1. You ready to lock in a 10-6 or better season?

I don't want to trade back into the 1st round. If we do, it better be soon, because after the 20th pick or so, it's not even worth it.

what people need to factor in is that Jenkins wasnt coming back after this year..

just bc CB isnt a hole today...doesnt mean it isnt a hole next year..you dont draft for today..you draft for the future..
