Per league source, the Jets, Eagles, Lions, and Patriots are interested in LaRon Landry.

bummer, I wish we would just take a stab on a 1 year deal and see what happens

maybe I just missed it on this board but did anyone notice Free and Sacndrick re-worked contracts to free up more space?

Can't Ware and Romo also re-work their deals? We can also release Coleman and free up another $1.9M. I now Coleman isn't awful but would you rather have Coleman or more playing time for Lissemore and another free agent ?

I think that was posted in this thread as a tweet.

I'd get rid of Coleman, go with youth.

Still have hopes we can land Billy Winn in the third.

I know what would happen...he sux in coverage, so he'll get exposed...

and/or he'll get hurt

I would rather take a shot at a guy having a great season than just accepting the fate of poole or elam just basically standing out at the postion all year. or barry church starting.

Problem is, with that many teams expressing interest, you're not going to be able to sign Landry to a incentive laden, one year deal.

I wish there was a spot on the game day roster for a clock/game manager.

great role model for dez bryant also. He would never be late to a meeting again.

OK, after we get Carr inked, I want Grubbs or Myers or at least Satele.

archer said yesterday we were interested in grubbs but now his salary might be 7 and that is too much because of the 5 million dollar penalty

carolina guard in the house...
http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=123E027E-E294-AEEC-8AF262C5BC576F1D

IRVING, Texas - The second day of free agency has yet to provide any fireworks, but that doesn't mean Wednesday won't end up that way.

The Cowboys started off the free-agent signing period actively pursuing a handful of players. Many of those guys are still in the area, and even at Valley Ranch, with others coming in later in the day.

When and if the dust settles, the Cowboys could sign at least two players Wednesday, possibly more. Kyle Orton could be the first player to sign with the Cowboys here in free agency, as a deal is close.

•The biggest names on the list are cornerback Brandon Carr, who is one of the better players still unsigned. Carr, who played four seasons with the Chiefs, is seeking a contract that will make him one of the NFL's highest-paid corners. He visited with the Cowboys and the defensive coaches Tuesday night at Cowboys Stadium.

•Carr's teammate for half of the season in Kansas City was quarterback Kyle Orton, who has played with Denver and Chicago. Orton also visited the Cowboys and remains in town, possibly waiting to finalize a deal to become Tony Romo's backup. There are reports surfacing that Orton has reached a three-year deal but the team hasn't announced such a move.

•Carolina guard McKenzy Bernadeau is currently at Valley Ranch and meeting with the coaching staff, including new offensive line coach Bill Callahan. Bernadeau played four years with the Panthers, mostly as a backup but does have 20 career starts.

•The Cowboys are also visiting with Bears tight end Kellen Davis. The four-year vet was more of a blocking and short-yardage tight end with Chicago. Davis only caught 18 passes for 206 yards, but had five touchdowns in 2011.

•Carolina linebacker Dan Connor is expected to be at Valley Ranch by Wednesday afternoon. Connor was a college teammate of Sean Lee for two years at Penn State. Connor played in 15 games, starting 11 last year for the Panthers, ranking third on the team with 87 tackles.

Vikings reached agreement with former Seahawks tight end John Carslon on a five-year, $25 million deal.
I was asked if I would prefer those with sources not report anything and I said yes.

McKenzy Bernadeau

McKenzy?

Sounds like he should be a high school cheerleader in California.
