Cowboys-Giants common opponents and scenario if both are 9-7, with Dallas beating NYG in season finale:

NFC East: both 3-3
Vs AFC East: NYG 4-0 (they'd have beaten NYJ), Dallas 2-2
Vs NFC West: 2-2, Dallas 3-1
Others: NYG 0-2, Dallas 1-1

I'm truly conflicted as to who to root for today. Yes, yours truly is a Cowboys fan. There is no denying that. But my mother was a die-hard Giants fan.

I can recall many Sundays when she'd be cheering on Big Blue. And hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is true if those G-Men ever lost to the Cowboys. I can recall many times growing up where mother would throw her prosthetic arm at the television in frustration.

I'd like for the Giants to win the next two games, and the Cowboys to beat Philadelphia next week. Let week 17 be for all the marbles.

My mother would like that as well.

We need a crash and burn game from manning today.

The skins need at least 3 turnovers to win this thing. Hopefully helu goes for 150.

If not for DirecTV, the only games I could watch today would be:

Early game - Bengals @ Rams
Late game - Lions @ Raiders

I'm a few minutes behind because I paused the DVR... but the Redskins just look sloppy on offense.


Tuck is walking off the field. Good. Hope he dies.
