I don't think it's as easy to flex monday night games as it is to flex just the kickoff times for sunday games. I think changing the actual day of the game presents more problems for ticket purchasers/travelers, etc.

The league has made it abundantly clear, they don't give a shit about the fans.

The reason for not flexing the Monday game is probably because of the insane production espn puts on. I don't think a switch a few days out would be compatible with what and how they operate.

Speaking of flexing schedules ESPN needs to do it.

They would rather just broadcast a shitty game though.

I've stopped watching MNF because 1) the games are shitty 2) ESPN production is terrible 3) I hate the guys in the booth and 4) there are better things on TV

The roof in Arizona dude. It's going to be open.

Real grass, open roof but still a dome I find that interesting.

it just sounded like it was a home game for us the way you said it. That is all.

Buccaneers' Josh Freeman out

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman will not play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers due to a shoulder injury.

NFC South blog
ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas writes about all things NFC South in his division blog.

• Blog network: NFL Nation

Josh Johnson will start in Freeman's place. Rudy Carpenter, recently promoted from the practice squad, will serve as the Bucs' No. 2 quarterback.

Coach Raheem Morris said last week that Freeman was hurt on a quarterback sneak that was stopped for no gain, sealing a 23-17 loss to the Titans last Sunday on Tampa Bay's final play.

He fumbled the snap on a fourth-and-1 sneak from the Tennessee 25, recovered before nudging back to the line of scrimmage. The Titans took over on downs with 39 seconds remaining, and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck kneeled to run out the clock.

The Bucs (4-7) have lost five straight games -- six of seven overall -- following a 3-1 start. Freeman has struggled after leading the team to a surprising 10-6 record a year ago

Yeah no worries.

I would have to be smoking crack to forget to leave my house and go to the game

If Philly did fire Andy Reid where do you think he would end up?

He's a good coach someone will want to hire him.

People would trip over themselves to hire them.

I think the new owner in Miami wants a name, and he would be a perfect fit. As long as he would want to work with the impending arrival of Carl Peterson. Peterson is the real worst gm in the league..or was.....

Reid could match wits with Ryan and belichick in h division and is a great qb coach and that is miami's flaw.

Having said that he won't get fired unless they don't win again or something and I am not sure he would take the Miami job.

In th back of my mind I also wonder if this is it for coughlin and if so Reid could go up there which would be bizarre.

I agree, Theebs I don't think Philly will fire him, and the Giants would be the last place I'd want him to go.

Do us all a favor and get a job in the AFC. Miami might be the place for him, yes.

How much better would we be on the Oline if we had landed Unger to play center?

He was a guy we were targeting a few years ago, but Seattle snagged him right in front of us. I don't remember who we took instead.

Martellus Bennett...

Safety on the first play for Minnesota; no respect for a possible pass whatsoever...
