I guess he's been the same level of player Newman has been. Not worth a top 10 selection, but good-solid for most of their careers.

Has Jammer been awful? I never followed him after being drafted. It seems like he's solid whenever I watch a SD game.

Newman's been better. Actually looks like a ballhawk compared to Jammer.

I wish we drafted Aaron Rodgers in the 5th round, but what does that have to do with Quentin Jammer?

Yeah. He started terrible, then I think there was a year or two when him and Cromartie were good with Wade there, then he's been terrible again. Against the Jets I think he gave up all three TDs to Plax, I saw him give up two last week, and he just got burnt for another one. That's more than a years worth of getting owned for most corners in 2.5 games.
