I should have stuck with my in a word advice.
I watched some of this game, it was putrid. I read in CZ numerous times how the Ravens were the model franchise and everyone wished we could be like them. Last nights game was about as ugly an offensive performance as I ever seen. 9 straight possessions for the Super Bowl read Ravens with NO first downs? They didnt get a first down until the 3rd quarter. Against Jacksonville, not exactly the 85 Bears.
Also, all those rueing about not keeping Gurode and letting him play LG or RG here, you can officially be quiet. Gurode looked pretty lost last night. Loved the guy at C here and he was a really top tier player for several years for us, but he looked washed up bad last night.

2011 Week 8 Game Day Chatter: Cowboys @ Eagles
This game will be a lot closer than last week. #1 ranked defense against the #1 ranked offense. We'll be at the edge of our seats with this one. Philly's 5 game home losing streak comes to an end.

There will be a Romo boneheaded turnover late in the game.
And Bailey will miss a potential game winner late in the 4th after the defense bails out us from that bad Romo turnover.
Monday morning, we'll be 3-4, just like the Eagles.... and there will be panic in the streets.

I'm glad we play the night game, as I have to attend a wedding today. Why anyone would decide to get married the day before Halloween is beyond me.
I don't know what to make of this game tonight. Don't have much of a feel for it. Cole vs Free is a major concern. And I think a desperate Andy Reid with two weeks to prepare will have some tricks up his sleeve. I expect an onside kick tonight.
Nevertheless, I'll don my rose-colored glasses and predict a Cowboys 30, Eagles 20 victory. Close most of the game, but we put the game away with a touchdown to Miles after a Vick interception with under 5 minutes in the game.
