I just saw Vick's postgame crybaby-fest. What a f'in pussy. If I was a defensive player in this league I'd be even more inclined to hit him whenever I could.

Dream team! lol

After watching the extended highlights of the Dream Team, we dodged a bullet by Asomugha taking the money from philly. He was putrid yesterday, and so was Rodgers-Cromartie. Not only could niether of them tackle, both got roasted repeatedly in coverage.

I didn't even tune in last night. I hate the Steelers, and a Peyton-less Colts team is unwatchable.

Suprised to hear the game was close.

This is my homer showing... but I'm stoked that Newman is coming back tonight.

I think he'll have a significant impact on our defense.

Doctor: Tony Romo not putting himself at more risk playing vs. Redskins

On Sunday's Fox pregame show, analyst Michael Strahan asked Dr. Mark Adickes, a lineman at Baylor and in the NFL before graduating to orthopedic surgery, if Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was putting his rib and lung at more risk if he plays against the Redskins::

Said Adickes: "I don't think so. He just had a little bit of air between his lung and chest wall, a little crack in his rib. They'll pad it up. He'll be fine."

They should have lost, seriously.

The officiating was hugely biased towards the Stealers last night. They probably got away with 3 or 4 personal fouls. And the one OL of theirs probably moved before the snap at least a half dozen times I saw, maybe more. I dont think he was flagged once for it.

It was a joke.

Skins' DT Cofield on Cows' new-look O-line: This O line is much smaller and more athletic. Not as physical and powerful as they have been.

Cofield, a former Giant, also told me that Stephen Bowen reminds him a lot of Richard Seymour. Pretty good compliment. #gamedaynuggets

O'rly?

Nnamdi would look completely different on a team that knows how to use him. Don't forget Philly has an OL coach for a DC while we have one of the DCs Nnamdi thrived under.

David Buehler is a game-time decision

September, 26, 2011

By Calvin Watkins

IRVING -- Cowboys kicker David Buehler (groin) is listed on the injury report as questionable but said he plans on playing Monday night vs. the Washington Redskins.

He's more of a game-time decision.

If Buehler can't play, rookie Dan Bailey will take over.

Bailey, from Oklahoma State, had seven kickoffs in two preseason games at Cowboys Stadium with two touchbacks.

When Buehler gets to Cowboys Stadium he'll attempt a few kickoffs to see how he feels. If the area isn't giving him trouble, he'll play. The Cowboys will be cautious with Buehler, because they don't want to lose him long-term. With Buehler not handling field goal duties because of the addition of Bailey, it's moved him back into his 2009 role, where he handled kickoffs and ran downfield to make tackles. Buehler already has one special teams tackle this year.

You take a risk with Buehler getting hurt when he covers kickoffs.

"That's just the nature of it," coach Jason Garrett said of dealing with Buehler's health. "We don't get too caught up in the whys of it. We just have to deal with the reality of the situation. We'll see him on a day to day basis as well and see if he's able to go on Monday night."

How would that keep him from whiffing on a tackle of Victor effing Cruz?

I think thats somewhat of a factor, but you can either cover and tackle or you cant. They arnt asking him to do entirely new stuff here.

He just looks pretty mediocre right now.

As for the OL coach being a defensive coordinator, I was told in CZ and in here that Reid knew what he was doing because he was such a superior football guy.
