I'm scared....I hAte these types of games...I always worry the guys will just assume they are better...harbaugh has those guys all fired up so if they get. A lead it will be a tough game.

They didnt look all that fired up to me the other day. They looked like a lousy team, that played an even lousier team and barely won the game.

We tend to play down to the competition, but we still win those games far more often than not...shit performance or no. I can't see the Niners beating us.

This is something I've noticed as well, and concerns me slightly.

I'd think had we ended up beating the Jets last week, then we would've likely done the whole "playing down to the competition thing."

But since we lost, and how we lost, I think this team comes out angry, aggressive, and we're going to fuck shit up and make a statement.

Sort of a side story to this game is that Garrett offered Vic fangio the coordinators job here and he didn't want it, went with harbaugh instead in sf......archer just had a story about it, but laufenberg was talking about it jn the preseason and said fangio was the guy Jason wanted......much like with Jimmy Robinson they are friends and share a philosophy closely.

Official injury report: WR Dez Bryant questionable, LG Bill Nagy doubtful and LB Sean Lee has back issue

IRVING -- A new name popped up on the Cowboys' official injury report Friday, two days before their game Sunday afternoon at San Francisco.

Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee, who is coming off his best game of his young career with 15 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery Sunday at the New York Jets, was limited in practice Friday with a back injury. Lee, however, is listed as probable for Sunday's game at San Francisco.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant (bruised quad) is listed as questionable (he's 50-50) and left guard Bill Nagy (neck) is doubtful. Veteran Derrick Dockery is expected to start at left guard for Nagy at San Francisco.

Wide receiver Miles Austin (knee) was limited in practice Friday after fully participating in practice the previous two days.

Outside linebacker Anthony Spencer and cornerback Mike Jenkins, both limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday with shoulder injuries, both fully participated in practice Friday.

Austin, Spencer and Jenkins are probably for the game against the 49ers.

He was an all-state WR his Junior year. He is one of the few basketball players who may be physical enough to handle it.

Eagles OL Jason Peters suffers ankle injury

Eagles offensive Jason Peters left practice early Friday because of an Achilles tendon/ankle injury, but the left tackle said he intends on playing Sunday against the Falcons according to Jeff McLane of the the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"Nothing looks to be too serious, so they're going to check it out and see how he's doing," Eagles coach Andy Reid said. "He seems to be doing well now."

Peters was listed as questionable on the official injury report. If Peters can't go, King Dunlap would be his likely replacement.

An Achillies tendon injury will get worse if he continues to push it. You don't mess with that type of injury.
