There's still Cannon or Rackley.
It's good to have a couple of high picks on the O-line, but there are so many solid starters that are taken later on. You're not going to have 5 pro bowlers. Look at the Giants for example. If I'm not mistaken the only high pick is Chris Snee. I'd kill to have a Rich Seubert or a Shaun O'Hara on the Redskins and neither were drafted high. This is a position you can find later in the drafts.
We have a draft an ILB with bad knees in the 2nd round fetish.
You did yesterday. I'm thinking of Shanny's O-line in Denver with Matt Lepsis and Tom Nalen. Not too many high picks or big names but they got the job the hell done. Don't always need stars there.
I'm enjoying this NFL draff.
You hitting the bottle today?
We drafted one player. Our need is much greater than that. And we can't assume that player is a hit anyway considering our inability to draft.
Both our starting Gs are over 30 and in decline. So is our C. Our RT is the worst in the league. Our LT is decent, nothing more. And we don't have a backup on the roster worth their own weight.
That's crisis mode. Brought on because for years we couldn't do what you suggest. Find quality linemen later in the draft.
