!!! NO. It did not break this week. This shit has been known for many years. Where do you think Gates just came from? You mean to tell me and others that when Gates was making Pro Bowls and All-Pros, that his background as never playing football in college but basketball WAS NEVER MENTIONED? So what did they talk about? He was a UFDA and just basically walked on to the Chargers. That's what makes his story so phenomenal-the fact that he did not play football in college and yet emerged as an All-Pro TE. They attributed his athleticism to being a basketball player.
