Have you really looked at his stats since Garrett took over?

4 starts, 7 tds, 2 picks, two games with QB ratings over 124, a 3rd with a rating just under 100. 2 300+ yd games and he's completing just under 70% of his passes.

I've seen his stats and I really am not impressed. Six of those TDs came in two games, leaving one more TD across two more games. Next to those two 300+ yard games are two games with less than 200 yards. Quit cherry-picking stats to make him look good. Teams were not focusing on Kitna because they figured "hey, Kitna isn't Tony Romo so this should be easy." He is playing well but hardly the reason we are winning.

If we do not intercept Peyton 4 times (twice for TDs) we lose that game. If we do not intercept Eli twice in the redzone we lose that game.

It's Minnesota. Heavy snow storms are the norm this time of year. You'd think this wouldn't be a problem.

I wonder if they'll bring their horn to Detroit. It wouldn't be a Vikings home game without a horn blowing after every positive play for the home team.

Now that's not annoying.

Wow. They just showed the collapse from inside the stadium. I just caught the tail end of it but it was pretty cool.

Eagles expect screens and more screens by Cowboys' offense

Gerry Fraley / Reporter

Philadelphia defensive coordinator Sean McDermott expects the Dallas Cowboys to again rely on the screen pass in Sunday's game.

In the final two meetings between these clubs last season, the Cowboys completed 10-of-12 screens for 70 yards and one touchdown with Tony Romo at quarterback. Miles Austin, tormenting cornerback Asante Samuel, had seven of the receptions for 41 yards and one score.

McDermott said the Cowboys run the screen well with Jon Kitna in place of the injured Romo. The screen has been a successful counter to the Eagles' penchant for blitzing.

``I think we're doing a better job overall defensively on that,'' McDermott said of his group's work against the screen. ``We've worked on it and we talked about it back in the spring and we've worked on it since the spring. Just like stopping the run, it's an everyday thing.''

Usually when the Cowboys aren't playing on Sunday afternoon, I'll watch Peyton Manning.

That's not an option this week.

These Sunday afternoon games are gonna suck. I suppose I'll tune into the Bucs/Redskins game.
