We've cut down on the penalties if that means anything. Yeah we know the Oline is still shit. But if we finish like 8-8 -r even 7-9, I wouldn't be too upset considering as to how we started off. Now take a look at the Titans. Young has reverted back to what he is: a crap QB. After looking like Steve Young against us. After beating us down like Mighty Joe Young.
I don't get it. It isn't until AFTER Wade was fired and a then after how we played against the Giants, have I come to hate Wade the way some of you people do. I cannot stand the thought of that fat POS!

Why wouldn't you be upset? You should be. This team was supposedly a Super Bowl contender. Many expected this team to win 10+ and now we're 'okay' with 7 wins?
This isn't the Buffalo Bills with a POS roster where we shock ourselves and have a magical 7-9 season.
Even if we finish 9-7, this team underachieved.
Not much good from this year will translate to next year. We've got many, many, many personnel decisions to make. Don't think a 9-7 finish this year automatically translates to a 12-4 season next year.

Who said we were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders? You're 0only upset because you bought into the hype. That's your problem not mine. How the fuck you think we going to contend with 4/5ths of our Oline 32 years old and lazy?
And no I shouldn't be. After the way our season started and how we finsihed the first half, the goals now change and so I am not upset. I'm looking to next year.

Not saying it to anyone here in particular. But know in general, most Cowboys fans are forever homers waving "9-7, Wild Card here we come" and "Boys are Back" signs...ya know, like ones we already saw today.

You don't know me from before...I've never thought these guys were Super Bowl contenders. I thought we were a 9-7, no playoff team from the get-go.
Essentially, I'm just saying that you're already seeing the media and fans get excited about beating the Giants and I'm sure beating the almighty Lions will fuel the fire...it means nothing for this season and little for next. No need to get hyped up over a couple wins.

If anything, I fear a 9-7 finish hurts this team next year.
It may cause our delusional GM to think our OL is awesome or something and lead him to ignore it.
