Is there any way the Cowboys can't fire Garrett at this point?

Show me where you were calling for Garrett's head on a platter in November or December of 2014? Seems like some of you have short memories or don't understand how pro sports works in reality. I am all for change when needed but tell me what really needs changed in Dallas first. If this doesn't...

Is there any way the Cowboys can't fire Garrett at this point?

Comparing Red to Obama is quite a stretch there.

Is there any way the Cowboys can't fire Garrett at this point?

Really? Is this not an opinion based website? Someone that is not on your damned high and mighty thought process means you bash someone? How idiotic is that. I do not state what I do not believe just to troll someone. Proving Red is a good coach or not is something I am not interested in. I...

Is there any way the Cowboys can't fire Garrett at this point?

I really thought Garrett would be a good coach for the Cowboys when he was the backup QB here. Troy always said Jason would be a great HC. Ownership has to allow him to be in control. He is as close as anyone in the world to the Jones family. How is firing him going to bring someone better in...

What NFL teams do you root for besides the Cowboys?

Cowboys only and have never wavered. I root for teams if it's best for them to win to help Cowboys. If there is no difference I will maybe root for a particular player because I like them. And nowadays if I have a player for FFB.

    Cowboys trade for Matt Cassell

Cassell is a good policy in case Weeden goes down. We needed a capable backup that has played in the league before. DC cannot let too many games slip away this year due to a QB. Can't bag on the trade...we don't know who else they called to try and get. Someone else was not available or too...

    DEZ down graded: 10 - 12 weeks

It's about toleration for injuries. In the case of cracked bones, it has to heal first and then is a player dealing with it good or not. Some players just deal with it and play earlier due to their own mindset. Don't be surprised if he plays in late October.

    Today's MMQB from Peter King

Interesting on why Romo has evolved the last several years. Tony Romo's maturation as Dallas Cowboys QB is no accident | The MMQB with Peter King

    Who you got? Week 2

What defense will step up will determine the winner. If Dallas has the consistent stops on first and second down I don't think the Iggles will win. The Eagles defense is porous and the DC should be able to run their offense. Hopefully the DC defense will not allow scores too quickly.

    Tony Romo

I tend to write overall and not be tied to direct quotes or statements. It's a background of a job. My direct statement is as follows. People are stupid to think Romo is not a top notch QB. Whether it's on this site or others over the past few years the asinine statements people spout out of...

    Tony Romo

It is what it reads. To throw negativity out there to stir pots or with a personal agenda is foolish......case in point.....does anyone listen to Skip Bayless? He's a blowhard.

    Tony Romo

Exactly! It's ok to be negative but to be negative just to do it is quite stupid.

    Tony Romo

Negative and reality in my context was do you like the DC or not? Do you bitch or be negative to stir pots. A person is then objective to meet their own needs. Parcells has said he knew Romo could be good. Could he get to Romo to teach what he could? It certainly helps that the dumbass QB at...

    Tony Romo

His best chance is this year. The organization has changed to make this happen. His best chance would not happen otherwise. There has been and are many people that will not give Romo any credit at all when the DC win more. Romo was a gift to the fans of the Cowboys from Parcells. Take it, run...

Gene Steratore's Official Statement on Dez's Catch/no catch

The colts returner caught the ball, got leveled, the ball fell out as he was completing the catch and going to the ground without making a football move. The colts kept the ball. Why? Catch is a catch except when it's a punt catch? Should be same catch is catch rule.

Gene Steratore's Official Statement on Dez's Catch/no catch

Look at it this way. The play was called on the field. There has to be "conclusive evidence" to overturn a call on field. Where is this? I don't know that there is. Where is the conclusive evidence the ball hit the ground? Not the opinion that it may have. How does the ref know the intentions of...

    Cowboys haters?

Haters can keep on hating on Romo and the Cowboys! I really don't understand why there's so much hating. Paying so much attention means you are a closet fan. Cowboys fans don't know that much crap about other teams and don't care about other teams winning or losing games. This is America's Team...

Deadspin article on Rod Marinelli....very nice of the Bears to help the Cowboys

Bears fans: do not look directly at the list of coaches that now-ex-GM Phil Emery turned down or alienated in order to hire now-ex-coach Marc Trestman two offseasons ago. It will just make you mad, and you don't really need that right now. From CSN Chicago: Emery's search in January 2013 to...

    Expectations? #2

Manning said this about Denver today. It applies to dallas. @Broncos: “We've done something right to win 12 games. I don’t think you luck into that.” - #Manning
