    I honestly blame Dennis Franchoine for killing the careers of Bennett and Stephen McGee before they got started. He took one of the most prolific passers in Texas HS history, and an athletic freak tight end; and turned one into an option QB and the other into a third tackle.

    I think LaFluer could have been better than he was, but back injuries killed his career. Not saying he would have been Witten or Novacek, but he was developing into a decent red zone target. And somewhere I still have an autographed LaFluer Donruss rookie.
