    Football Life on Troy Aikman

I really don't think he had doubts about Aikman, but I do agree with what you said about he only drafted him to trade him. I remember Jimmy commenting publicly when they made the move that after studying the NFL and talking to a number of really good coaches, that he learned then that you HAD...

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

I don't see much blame for the coaches this time. The defense played their best game of the yr and if it hadn't been for one great play by OBJ they'd have had a near perfect night and we'd have won the game. Prescott and Bryant pretty much lost the games on their own.

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

Headed to Vegas with the wifey, wont be back till late Monday evening. Hope you slobs can survive without me for a few days. I think Sunday night could be one of those benchmark type wins if we can pull it off. The Giants will play us tough and even without JPP their D is still physical and...

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

They are, although they did lose at home to Tampa a couple weeks back. (Tampa worries me for us next week) They have some good wins though, and looking like they are going to win tonight.

    2016 NFL Week #14: Dallas Cowboys (11-1) @ New York Giants (8-4)

Wonder of we'll see all the media slobs talk about how the Chiefs gave everyone the blueprint to beat the Raiders or that the Raiders have been figured out now.

    Football Life on Troy Aikman

The Skip Bayless thing did come up one day. He was fucking pissed. I think he genuinely wanted to kick Bayless' ass.

    Football Life on Troy Aikman

I don't know if anyone on here was on AOL back when he was playing, but Troy used to do regular chat sessions with a huge group of us. It was really cool. He'd be on for about an hour and answer questions, chat about football in general or just any of the other topics of the day. This would have...

    Randy Gregory situation

So according to Garrett, it sounds like the league did tell them Gregory would be able to practice, then reneged. Also I saw some blurb yesterday where the league claimed they hadn't made any comments to the Cowboys about Gregory's situation.

    Football Life on Troy Aikman

Don't pay any attention to Wahoo. He posts drunk probably 98% of the time and he has a Tony Romo blow up doll that he gets it on with several times a week.

    2017 ¾ season mock off-season and draft

I agree, although having Hitchens around as a jack of all trades kind of backup and special teamer would be good depth.

Actually he is saying the Zeke/Elliott late night out thing is being used by the Giants to fire the team up. Whatever Theebs

    Randy Gregory situation

Yeah I had read in one of those articles about it that apparently standard protocol on longer term suspensions the past couple years had been the league allowing teams two week exemptions so the guy could practice and then actually be ready to play when the suspension was officially over...

Shit, am I going to have to admit defeat at the hands of the Dooms? :crying There really might be a first time for everything. :asshole

    Football Life on Troy Aikman

He's not wrong Dooms, they did switch it. Just because Aikman ran a handful of plays from a wishbone or pseudo wishbone, doesn't mean that was the staple of the team anymore. The OU Miami game where Aikman got injured was nationally televised. They even noted the switch in offensive philosophy...

    Football Life on Troy Aikman

Jimmy got Barry back while he was at Miami though. I think he was either 2-0 or maybe 3-0 against OU after he went to Miami. One of them was the national championship game Miami won.
