Ah yes. The Pro Bowl "Games". What is it this year? Skee-ball, Hopscotch and an Egg & Spoon race? Isn't it long overdue that they ended this farce?

I'm no fan of KM but it sounds like he might do well out of this. Now he might get to work with a real franchise QB with proper arm-talent.

Divisional Round 2023: Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers

Would probably cost us a first round pick too as the Saints still own his rights. Jerry ain't doing that.

Well at least we've been spared seeing them get drummed by the Eagles next week.

Bit difficult to do that, Dave, when your QB is eating up too much of the cap.

Really pissed off with that. Game was there to be won.

This franchise is wasting its time with Dak. We'd have won this game with an average performance from Dak, but he couldn't even manage that.

Also it's worth noting that it would be Schultz's second franchise tag which could see his cap hit rise by as much as 20%.

I think so unless he's willing to take a pay cut. It's a lot of money to justify for someone who is essential now a short-yardage/goal-line back.

    Wild Card Weekend 2023

Over The Cap has projected the 2023 franchise cap hits for each position - https://overthecap.com/franchise-transition-and-rfa-tenders Safety - $14.472M TE - $11.356M RB - $10.1M So Pollard would be the cheapest to tag. Food for thought.

Notice how much better Dak looks when we can run the ball even just semi-competently.

    Wild Card Weekend 2023

I'm not a fan of using the franchise tag at all, but if we do use it I'd prefer they use it for Pollard rather than Schultz. Now I know there are loads of good backs that come out of college every year, but I'm not convinced we'd find anyone as good as Pollard. He's not that far behind McCaffrey...

    Wild Card Weekend 2023

If we (somehow) beat the 49ers it will be our first back-to-back road playoff wins since 1975 (the Hail Mary game against the Vikes followed by the 37-7 shitstomping of the Rams in the Coliseum).

I'm off up the stairs to Bedfordshire now. Although I'm worried that performance will give me nightmares.

Shite. We're getting spanked by a Ron Rivera coached rookie QB.

Dak - 14/37 for 128yds and a pick-six. That's Babe Laufenberg territory. This performance is going to destroy any confidence the team had going into the playoffs. We're finished.

2022 NFL Week 17: Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans

GB are guaranteed a playoff spot if they beat the Lions. Seattle need a win (at home to the Rams) and a GB loss. The Lions need to beat GB and a Seattle loss. This is all excluding the possibility of ties of course.

2022 NFL Week 17: Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans

Not sure what I should make of this whataboutery from Sturm. Is it supposed to reassure me that other teams (good teams too) are equally adept at giving the ball to the opposition? Are we supposed to just shrug our shoulders and accept it? I'd rather we find a way to take more care of the...

Even when he threw the TD pass there was barely a flicker of emotion. Not even a Garrett-esque polite hand clap. I'm sure inside they were bursting with pride.
