We have a President who right now is at work early on a Saturday morning taking questions freeform and rapid fire from the press. And just wearing them out. He has a high motor. Have we ever had this kind of absolute full time worker as POTUS? Like him or not you can't say he's not a worker.

It was a dumb pick by him in the first place. Knowing what Kathy Hochul is and knowing the slim majority in the house was going to be a problem he should have left her where she is. She can be an effective leader in the House for him.
If Democrats take back the House, Trump becomes a lame duck, ineffective president for 3 years. Dems will shut down DOGE, open investigations of everything the Trump admin does and probably impeach him a 3rd time.

It seems like every time the markets start to calm down about tariffs Trump comes out with another statement about tariffs scaring the markets again. His first term he liked to point to the markets as an indicators of how well he was doing restoring the economy. Now the markets are skittish and he doesn't seem to care.

They keep blaming tariffs for the stock market issues, but the bigger issue is probably countries that hate us just mass dumping stock left and right to try and crush the economy again. They used Covid to derail him the last time and probably figured nobody would buy into that sham again. So they've moved on.
