Still wish they'd at least THINK about moving Parsons to see what the return would net. Maybe nobody would offer enough, but at least have a couple or three convos.

Hell yes they would! You'd be paying veteran minimum for him while I'm still paying him to play for you. Even if he's your backup.

His numbers and pass rush metrics show he is far above average.
Crawford also had a devastating injury, Odiggy has never missed a game in 4 yrs.
If you let him walk, there's nobody on this roster currently waiting to replace him, certainly nobody that is anywhere near as good. He was also either the top DT or 2nd rated DT on every free agency rating list thats come out, so expecting you'll sign someone as good or better is not happening. Your only option is to draft someone early and there is absolutely no guarantee whomever you get will be any good, and you've lost the ability to improve somewhere else because you had to do this.
Letting him go is stupid.

No reason for them to drop it that much, especially if they're not moving Stafford.
With Nacua coming on strong Kupp has become an afterthought in LA. I would love to have a stud possession receiver like him in Dallas

Not saying they can't trade him, but it's not vital enough that they would have to move him at a price that Jerry would actually do the deal at.
