I think jobs is right to a certain extent. A lot of those jobs were moved to China are never coming back. But that doesn't mean we cannot rebuild our own manufacturing capacity
It's a matter of national security and sovereignty. Part of the long term plan to destroy us is make us unable to manufacture. Make us completely unskilled, generationally.

Absolutely, as the war in Ukraine is showing us, despite what analysts saying about the next wars being over in days, the reality is we should be prepared for prolonged conflicts where manufacturing capacity is going to win or lose the war.

In history, the vast oceans insulated us from invasion on our own soil (leaving out of course, the early invasions by European powers.) Now they're sufficiently weaponized against us because we've become SO dependent on imports. Major war interrupts commerce even on a medium scale, and we're dead in the water literally, and vulnerable both economically and strategically. This is what puppet Selensky let slip out when he told Trump we've "enjoyed the ocean but soon no more."

You want to get angry this morning?

This should make everyone angry. First, the idea that we cannot deport members of a terrorist group is just absurd. The idea that the ACLU would rush this appeal to the Supreme Court to protect these terrorists is equally maddening. But how is it the ACLU managed to get this expedited ruling in the first place? So many Trump cases are sitting on the docket somewhere waiting to be appealed by the lower courts but somehow the ACLU gets this case rushed to the Supreme Court in 1 day! This pisses me off like nothing else.

The appeal is based on the argument that even violent terrorist thugs in this country illegally deserve due process - a hearing, a even an appeals process before they can be deported. And here is how that works. Trump will have the hearings heard by judges friendly to his policy. They will lose and get a deportation order. The ACLU will appeal their cases which will take months or years to hear. They will probably find friendly courts to hear their appeals and they will win stays and delays. Thousands of violent criminals will remain in the US for years committing crimes against Americans while the ACLU drags their cases out. The goals is to push these deportations out 4 years when Trump is no longer president. If they get a Democrat in office, these cases and deportations will all be dropped.

Liberals do not care if we die, if our children are raped and murdered, or the country is lost to the kind of gang violence that plagues Mexico and Central America.

I just saw something this morning claiming Obama deported hundreds of thousands of illegals using administrative procedures, meaning they did not go through the courts. In fact, this has been done for years. It could be that no one challenged Obama and that's why the courts did not intervene. But the point is, like all things Trump, the rules have changed for him.

The court did not stop deportations. That is the legal authority of the president. But they held that none one could be deported without due process or proper hearings and appeals. This means every single deportation could be held up in the courts until long after Trump is gone. This is ridiculous. We've been deporting people for non-violent crimes for years and if they want to appeal their deportation they do if from outside the country. In other words, we deport them first. Then they can appeal.

IMO, this is all out of Trump hatred. And anyone who rules or legislates based only on Trump hatred and not what's best for the country should be barred from serving in government. End of story.
