Nice add for us "again". Really good rotational pass rusher and has the added benefit of hurting Washington, led them in sacks and TFL last yr. Surprised he left there as he was one of Quinn's favorites (not just from his time in Dallas or Wash either, he goes back to Florida with Quinn) and Washington also had plenty of cap space to keep him. Wasnt like we broke the bank to get him. He's coming off one of his best seasons of his career and was solid for us for two seasons prior.

Maybe you dont watch enough football?

Williams numbers for his 4 seasons are almost identical to Dillon's, and Williams missed almost all of his 2nd season with an injury. He's also 2 yrs younger than Dillon. Was originally a 2nd rd pick.

Williams is considered a strong short yardage back and is also a really good receiver.

In all seriousness, you probably havent heard much about Williams because the Broncos have been pretty lousy for several yrs (up until last season. Whereas Dillon's Packers have been fixtures on TV and in the playoffs.
The point is, Dillon in combination with Barkley makes for a nice combo (speed and finesse with power), whereas in Dallas it is Williams and Miles Sanders?

Our signings have no "game changer" value. When I look at Dallas, where did Dallas really improve?

As usual, we'll need to rely on skill and and the draft gods to make a leap.

Williams and Sanders are minimum wage veterans brought here as depth and insurance, but they both have decent skill that makes them solid backups with roles they can fill. There's only so many Barkley's running around out there and there wasn't one available in free agency this year. There's also the fact that Philly only got Barkley last yr because he had a history of being overrated and injury prone. They caught lightning in a bottle.

Our lead back is coming via the draft.

Now about that factoid where I noted Williams numbers are identical to Dillon's? You also left out that Dillon can't help anybody if he can't play, and he's probably one hit away from permanent NFL retirement after not playing last yr. You're telling me you think the Eagles signing of him is better than guys like Williams or even Sanders?

Love DLaw, but he aint winning a Super Bowl in Seattle with that team either.

He went there because he got a boatload of money from them.

irrelevant to my point which was it is refreshing to see a player publicly acknowledge whats been true for 30 years

“Dallas is my home… But I know for sure I’m not gonna win a Super Bowl there”

Barkley had one good season since he was drafted in 2018. That easy schedule last season made him look like a monster against weak Defenses. Winning the SB will give them a much tougher schedule. Barkley won't be in any MVP conservations anytime soon again.
