Too good of a rookie RB crop coming out in the draft. There's a real quantity of quality.
And they have to feel really good about what they saw from Malik Davis too. Looks like a really good all-around RB that could carry the load if he was asked.
That's why I wouldn't franchise Pollard and I definitely would NOT give him any kind of multi year deal, unless it was just super cap friendly. I also don't believe he'll get much FA interest anyway until he shows he's 100%, which might not be anytime soon.

Zeke is washed. Not sure what the debate is about. Herein lies the problem of a front office with no accountability to anyone. A GM who is emotionally attached to players and where jersey sales are a factor. What a shit show.

Let's say for arguments sake this is true, along with the Max Duggan rumor. Everything I have read says Stroud goes no later than 9th to Carolina. I dont see them making that move up while still on the hook to Dak for two more years even though most of us realize he is the road to no where. I think what stands out to me if there is any truth to this, is even Jed and son have finally figured out Dak is never going to lead this team any further than a wild card. Jerry and cap boy first instinct was not to pay him which was correct. My biggest fear is they extend him due to lack of options and cap relief. For god sakes do NOT kick the Dak can down the road.

BTW every sports franchise has at least one "go to" local reporter when they want to let stories out. Fisher is definitely one of those for Jerry or Stevie so I feel confident the front office wanted this story out there for a reason.

Duggan they can get with a 6th or 7th rd draft pick. He's a borderline NFL QB at best and I honestly don't see him eve being a legit starting QB.
I think Stroud is the best pure passer in the draft and is probably going to be the 1st QB taken, which to me means he is almost assuredly going in the top-3 picks somehow.

Yeah I thought about that, and unfortunately I think if its true the reason they "wanted" it out there is to scare Prescott's camp into accepting a more cap friendly restructure.

Wagner wants to be on a "winning team". He's stated Dallas, Eagles & Seahawks are his first 3 choices (in that order). I doubt he'll got to Seattle being he played there already & they're far from being a winning team. The thought of a defense anchored by Parsons & Wagner is a scary one. And it wouldn't be that unlikely of an outcome considering the organization's interest in Wagner last offseason. Go get him Jerry, make Quinn even happier!
