we usually get the opening week and thanksgiving games during this owners meeting...or at least the primetime games.
I guess the ravens-orioles situation is holding this up?
I still think they are going to send us to philly as the homecoming team to kickoff the new eagles regime...
but I am hoping we open at 3:15 against the rams...no primetime game, do division opponent just a normal game, under the radar. Would love to play the rams before they get that team really together, because I have a feeling they are better than us.

We will open on one coast and then have a 2nd road game on the opposite coast. We will also end on the road.
At least, that's how they did us the last two years.

as long as they don't have gb here or send us to New Orleans for that hornets nest with Payton back.
Although Dallas @ New Orleans on snf with the whole Payton angle is good deal for NBC. I imagine fox would be pissed though.

Yeah something doesnt add up. The Chiefs had all kinds of cap room I believe, and Andy Reid cut the guy without giving it a 2nd thought even though he only played a year of his deal.

Or better yet we take Warmack and he starts at one G, Moore starts at the other.
Maybe someone else has the info, but pretty sure Moore was one of the top rated G's in the league last year for the Jets

Brace yourself. we are going to draft one and then in the UDFA market bring in at least two like we always do.
hopefully we find someone who will fit what they are looking for.
imo to fix this running game, the tight ends and fullbacks have to be good and right now as far as blocking goes from both sans witten I dont really know that we have the players we want.
and that leads us to another problem, garrett has been trying to find a te/fb for seemingly four years and can not get it right.
and people want him to look for a quarterback. No thanks.
Even Witten's blocking has dropped pretty big. I remember him saying how it wasn't hard once - you just have to get in someone's way and shield them. While this is true in alot of cases pass blocking and in the open field, at the point of attack you need push. We missed Bennett last year, no question.
