Gaining in the polls. I wish he would win the nom. I'm worried that his age makes him hard to elect, but he makes a lot of sense.
He's the opposite of the old cliche politician that has fucked up this country so bad. The opposite of insane.
Like what?I dunno Pep, some of his stuff borders on insane. I like some of his ideas (especially with the budget and the deficit) but beyond that, he's kinda out there and seems a little looney to me.
Like what?
Like some of his ideas, but he's a whacko on some stuff too.
You don't think it makes sense to worry about our own issues before worrying about the rest of the world's? I think it makes a lot of sense that all the meddling we do in other countries has caused the extreme backlash we have seen as opposed to other countries who don't stick their noses in the rest of the world's business. All his foreign policy stuff is a mess, supporting losers like Cynthia McKinney is mind boggling...I think he's fairly anti-military and would likely be weak on national security and defense
I don't think he's anti-military, he was in the military. And I certainly don't think he'd be weak on national security. If anything his positions on foreign policy would lead him to be staunchly defensive.
Jimmy Carter was in the military too once upon a time.
and GW Bush was in the air national guard... Whats your point?
Yeah, it was obvious you were just trying to compare Ron Paul with Jimmy Carter because you don't happen to agree with his ideas on foreign policy. Why don't you tell me what you don't agree with specifically? Because comparing him to another past president who also had military service is useless, seeing as most of our past presidents have some sort of military experience. It doesn't dictate what their policy is.My point was pretty obvious.
