So I have wanted to start a blog for awhile now. I want to start one and have it be all about the cowboys from the perspective of being in the stands for the game.....I would post pictures, videos etc....

there is always so much debate about the fans here and the stadium here I thought it might be interesting...

but it also might be tremendously stupid.

I was going to also include other simple things like a game and audio trading list.

Was hoping to get people who attend games on the road to write about it quick also.

should I do this or is it just really stupid?unce

cool. Im all in then. if I am going to be gay about this stuff I will go all in and take it to the next level.

a few years back I had what I thought was a great idea to make a documentary about the final few years of texas stadium from the fans perspective. I had plans to get some people together and film people in the parking lots for the 06,07,08 seasons.....then the opening of the new stadium and the 09 season.

I thought it would be cool to tell a story through the fans who had been going to texas stadium for years and now had to just leave all that behind.

I just didnt know enough people to make this happen and didnt have the skillset at the time to put it all together. Plus I would be late getting into the stadium for each home game during the last few years....and that was the thing that killed it for me, plus it would have been a labor of love and would have gotten really expensive.

so Oh well. Something I would love to do more than anything would be to spend a season with Brad Sham, Babe Laufenberg and Kristie Scales from day 1 of the offseason to day 1 of the next offseason and tell the story of what it takes for the radio broadcast to be put on each week and what goes into it.

that will probably never happen either!

Bottom line - is it something you'd enjoy doing? If yes, then do it.

Not sure if this would fit in or if there is anything like this, but I've never found it when I traveled down for games before. Something for out of towners that provides kind of a game day primer for attending a game. Good hotels/areas to stay at when attending, best places to park, good areas in the stadium to look for seats, how early you should arrive, how long you should expect to have to wait after the game, the must see/must do things before the game, etc.

thanks that is a good idea.

My answers to that will be limited though, I will seek out others to leave feedback. I live south of the stadium and like 75% of the people come from the east and north and are stuck going to 30....which is all backed up.

I know all the ins and outs on the area where i park, for 20 bucks by the way though...
