Pathetic, Wade-like loss to a team that completely sucks dick.

I'm officially off the Garrett bandwagon. I saw Barber play tonight. And I've seen the last two weeks. He can't be a good coach here under this fraud GM.

Get me an established head coach who forces real change.

And may this entire current regime DIAF.

Once again... PMSing. This is not Garrett's fault. And Barber for once had a decent game. But hey... don't let the facts stand in the way.

Barber had the stupid penalty (albeit, why should he think he'd be flagged for it when he sees other teams players do it on a weekly basis and not draw a flag) but otherwise I thought tonight might have been his best game of the year. And he blocked their 6'6, 290 lb DE better than our POS starting RT did. I dont want the guy back (actually him or the RT) but he did play pretty well tonight.

The defense found a way to blow a game (again). I still want Garrett as HC, because I think he'll surround himself with quality assistants. I really doubt any of this staff's defensive assistants will be back next yr. He had nothing to do with any of them being here.

I don't think he'll make JG the head coach because Jerry doesn't want to blow the whole thing up.

Having JG as coach will have more growing pains that it would with an experienced coach.

I think Garrett will make a decent coach, but Jerry is going to want to bring in another proven winner.

Cowher, Gruden, and so on. It's just my opinion. And there will be a lot of player changes along the defense and on the offensive line.

And we will have a new kicker.

Uh, didn't every Cowboy take a vow to cut out the over celebrating after that incident between Witten and Colombo? No excuse.

It's actually easier to keep most of the coaching staff in place, as opposed to overhauling the whole thing.

Good point, but again. It happens over and over on almost a weekly basis, and is seemingly never called.

If it happened right in the endzone, maybe you throw it. But he was running towards the sideline and was fairly close to the sideline when he took the helmet off, correct?

He was clearly on the field. Anyways, as a Cowboy he should know better, especially being a Dallas Cowboy RB. The whole rule was created in effect because Emmitt Smith used to pull his helmet off in the endzone to celebrate.

It merely represents most of the roster, dumb players who can't keep their emotions in check or stay focused. It's pissing me off!

Are you that confident that changing a few coaches will fix it?

We need someone who can help get smarter players on the field, Jerry doesn't know shit about that.

I think we need someone who brings his own coaching staff that he trust, not who Jerry trust.

I think we set the record for most passes intercepted, intended for WRs in a season.

LOL! Aren't most passes intercepted were intended for the WR? Aren't most passes period intended for the WR? LOL! I know what you mean. I give Austin a pass on his---he slipped, bad field, Witten slipped on one play. But Roy... no. He has reverted. Took his eyes off the ball and it bounces off of him. If he isn't taking his eyes either off the ball or is showing a lack of effort, which both results in tipped INTs, then he is running lazy routes which allows the defender to jump them and get the INT. I bet their are more INTs resulting from passes at him, than there are TDs.

I think that is more your desire and hope for wanting Cowher or Gruden in here. You've been blowing both of their horns for however long, and you really think that either of those two if they came here would NOT BLOW everything up, that they will not bring in their own people? Then what would be the point of bringing either of them in? And there will be growing pains no matter who is brought in. Shit! You don't think there were growing pains with either Cowher or Gruden. There is always going to be growing paisn. The Saints had them under Payton. Garrett deserves a chance, with better players and a better coaching staff.

We don't need retreads. I was one of Garrett's most vocal critics when he was an OC, but he has more than earned the HC. You forget how both Cowher and Gruden ended. They didn't go out winners in their final year.

Of course it's easier, but certainly not better for the team. It'd be easier to keep much of the players than to overhaul. Overhauling the coaching staff is necessary, at least the defensive side of the ball, and the Oline. When new coaches come in the overhaul much of the staff.

But you just said in a previous post in this thread, that is for the very reason why Jerry will not hire Garrett.

When I mean blow up, I mean replace several players, not just a few here and there.

If he was to hire a guy like Cowher or Gruden they probably want to bring in some of their own coaching staff, that's all.

If we were to blow this whole thing up, then half this team and coaches would be gone.

I think it would be more of a blowing up thing with replacing several players, not coaches.

And the main reason I said Jerry wouldn't hire JG is experience.

Jerry was given alot of crap for passing up on Randy Moss. He made up for it by drafting Dez. Jerry was given alot of crap for letting Sean Payton walk. He can make up for that by keeping Garrett. In all of the games since Garrett took over, NOT ONE GAME were the Cowboys blown out. Not one. In EVERY game the Cowboys were in it and the ones they lost, had a chance to win it. We still have stupid players. But they are playing better than under Wade. It's going to take more than a half-season to fix stupidity. Nobody with a straight face can sit up there and state that Garrett has not earned the job, despite losing yesterday.

You make some very good points. And JG has done a good job, but can he carry this over to next season?

I hope I'm dead wrong about JG not being our future, and him turning around this team, but Jerry is still in control with JG. He doesn't have that experience that Jerry is looking for.

In other words Jerry won't give him much control of things, because he lacks experience. Maybe we keep Garrett and Jerry hires someone else to help him out, another assistant head coach or a role where Reeves was going to play.

I still want Garrett here but the COMPLETE defensive staff must go.

Garrett must be able to decide who he wants as the new D. cordinator.

If he isn't coaching here next year he will be somewhere else and doing a helluva job.

I really don't think Gruden and Cowher can do a better job....It's a different NFL now just ask Shanny.
