With upcoming schedule, the Cowboys have chance to get healthy and get on a roll

The most important thing for the Cowboys (4-4) on Sunday was that they got a win to get back to .500 at the halfway point and get that bad taste from last week’s 34-7 embarrassment in Philadelphia out of their mouths.

And considering the upcoming schedule the Cowboys hope this was the beginning of something they can build on to make a second half run.

They host the Bills (5-3), who lost 27-11 to the Jets on Sunday, next week before facing the declining Redskins (3-5), losers of three straight, the Dolphins (1-7) and the Cardinals (1-7).

The possibilities certainly have owner Jerry Jones excited especially he things will get healthier with the return of linebacker Sean Lee and running back Felix Jones.

“I know before this ball game, I had several of (Seattle’s) staff really compliment our personnel and just really talk about how they liked our players and if we could get some things going, we could really make some headway,” Jones said. “I don’t want to and not going to look at a schedule as much as I’m going to look at how we’re playing. Hopefully this gave us a hard game. I know we had a hard game, but it gave us something that we can go out here and build off of and maybe get a couple of guys back. I’m looking at we might be able to do that next week.”

Said linebacker Bradie James: We had to win this one. There is no dobut. Now its time to start putting them together and build on it.”

I can’t get excited about this team. Am i a bad fan? Just looks like the same ole Cowboys. Same mistakes, same pick me up-let me down expectations. It was 6-6 at halftime and shouldn’t have been close. We won and i hardly enjoyed it. Although watching Murray is a lot of fun. I like how he plays.

Yup, we'll need to win both games against the Giants and the one game with Philly to win this division.

I don't see it happening.

It's set up to make a run but before I raise an eyebrow and buy in somewhat they gotta beat the Bills and our long time hated rival on the road in succession. Beating a woeful Tavarus Jackson led Seahawks team doesn't instill anymore confidence in this team then I had after the Eagles beatdown.

Completely agree.

And what the F is Jerry talking about? "Hopefully this gave us a hard game. I know we had a hard game..." I'm so sick of him.

Am I missing something?

Not sure.

I'm saying even if the team gets on a roll, they've already put themselves in a huge hole. The only hope the Cowboys have is the hope that the Giants decide to start sucking and choke their division lead away.

Basically I'm saying, WGAS?

They lost last week?

I thought they had won 3 or 4 straight.
They had to have a fourth quarter comeback to beat the (at the time) winless Dolphins at home. They squeaked by Buffalo at home, and their last loss was to Seattle by 11 at home.

Good win this week, but let's not pretend they're some juggernaut.

They're stacking good days on top of good days.

Juggernaut or not, they're 6-2 with a 2 game lead at the half way point. Not sure why it's far-fetched to think that they'd need to stop winning games in order for a late season push by the Cowboys to matter.
