With 68, Tony Romo makes cut

IRVING, Texas -- A third-round 68 allowed Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo to make the cut at the Azalea Invitational at the Country Club of Charleston (S.C.) on Saturday.
At plus-5 for the tournament, Romo is tied for 53rd, climbing 25 spots in the standings. His 68 tied for the 11th best round of the day. Romo tees off at 8:40 a.m. for his final round. Romo missed the cut last year at the Azalea after finishing 34th and 36th in his first two years in the event.
Dallas’ Jordan Spieth is tied for 17th at -3 and is 11 strokes behind the leader John Tyler-Griffin.
