I feel like Cowboyjoe creating a shitty thread. Ok, Deion Sanders says Romo will not win a Super Bowl. Phil Simms says he will. Pick a side of the fence to stand on.

He has the talent to. He has the supporting cast.

But I don't think he has the mental fortitude to do it.

Every week, and every season until he's replaced, I will hope to be proven wrong.

I said yes. He's way too talented to say no.

A lot of variables go into him winning. How long will he have a defense that's playing well? Will he ever have the support of a running game? The line needs a few pieces.

I'll agree with this. I we HAVE to say either yes or no, I'll say yes. But I voted for the no ball/hairy vagina to make XXX feel good about himself.

I love me some hairy vag!

I voted yes after much thought. I think he will win a Super Bowl as a backup somewhere someday...i guess that will count.

I agree with this. I voted yes as well but too much goes into it.

I said this in another thread but Tony Romo is not Peyton Manning. He won't be able to single handedly take his team there.

Romo needs the supporting cast like most QBs. Better OLine. Better run game all around. Defense needs to stay intact.

I think the question should be phrased to whether Romo will win a Super Bowl as a Dallas Cowboys QB?

I agree that he needs to have a supporting cast, however i disagree with the notion that you don't belive the supporting cast isn't already here. Very few QB's can have it all. A great OL, great RB, great receiving weapons, great defense, great ST's, etc.

Romo is in most likely the best situation of his career right now. We have a solid defense that can get stops and force some TO's, we have a solid ST's with a good punter and kicker finally, we have great weapons on offense with Witten, Austin, Bryant, and even to a lesser extent Felix/Murray and Robinson have shown they can play effectively. That's a pretty damn good supporting cast i think and i doubt it will get much better before the window closes for him.

BTW.. i too went the hairy vag route just to annoy everlast, lol.

However, if i was forced to make a decision one way or the other, i would say no. I don't know, at this point in his career, if he can change his approach mentally, so i don't know that he'll ever be able to avoid these crucial mistakes for an entire postseason run to the title. He has the team around him to be successful, and i hope he does do it obviously, but i just think it will take alot at this point for it to happen. Its not probable.. although if he does do it, it'll almost have to be within the next 3 years, tops.
