One position the Cowboys don't need to find in this draft is a return man.

The Cowboys have an outstanding return specialist in Dez Bryant. But since he ended the season on injured reserve, it sparked questions about how much the team will use the wide receiver in that capacity going forward.

Punt returns aren't an issue. But does the team really want to add to his work load and have him return kickoffs, especially when they're happy with Akwasi Owusu-Ansah in that role?

Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis believes concerns that Bryant is more likely to get hurt on kickoff returns is overblown. He wants to see Bryant return punts and kickoffs.

"I like him on both,'' DeCamillis said. "When he played on kickoff returns he was outstanding. We've just got to make sure we've got a really good group blocking for him, that's the main thing.

"Devin Hester (Chicago) has been back there the whole time and really hasn't had any appreciable injuries. I think part of the reason is he's had good blockers.

"Again, it's not my decision. It's a team decision. But if you're asking if I would like to have him back there, sure. He's a game-breaker, man. His average would have been a lot higher if he didn't have several called back.''

Feh, let him return kickoffs and punts along with his receiving role, he's getting paid for it.

I didn't realize we were "happy" with Owusu Ansah returning kicks.

I thought he was awful.

I'd say let the game dictate it.

If we're up by multiple scores late, then no. Otherwise, yes.

His injury notiwthstanding, I'm not one of those that believe the kick off and punt return responsibilities greatly increase a players potential for injury.

Pretty good,I agree.

No use taking returns just to be on Sportscenter, but teams like the Eagles,Bears and others have found ways to make it work w/o exposing their star returners too much.

Personally, I'm against it... unless we badly need a score. My thinking behind that is desperate times, desperate measures.

I'll always point to the Jason Sehorn incident where returning a kick destroyed a budding star.
