The status of wide receiver and kick returner Kevin Ogletree is uncertain after he injured his right foot Sunday in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys' 30-27 loss to Philadelphia. Less than 24 hours later, Ogletree was seen at the Cowboys' practice facility, wearing a protective walking boot.

"We are going to evaluate it day to day and see how it goes," said Cowboys coach Jason Garrett. "He got banged up pretty good. The initial reports were okay. We will see as the next couple of days unfold."

Ogletree's responsibilities increased last week after receiver Dez Bryant fractured his right fibula in a 38-35 victory over Indianapolis on Dec. 5. After not recording a catch in the team's previous 12 games, Ogletree emerged from the shadows Sunday, making three receptions for 34 yards. Then the injury happened. On Monday, Ogletree didn't seem too disappointed after the latest setback.

``It's part of football,'' Ogletree said

He needs to take advantage of the opportunity in front of him, so hopefully his injury is minor.

I like Roy . . . but part of me would like to go in another direction next season. And I'd like to see if Ogletree can be an adequate #3.
