Decisions. Decisions.

You can pick the team that was supposed to run away with the Super Bowl, or the team that was supposed to run away with the NFC East.

Both 3-6, tied for basement in NFC East.

Mike Lombardi probably wants to hide under a table at this point.

He basically comes on the ticket here once a week with the misers and essentially tells everyone the cowboys do things wrong and should be like the eagles. Then he proclaimed shanahan so good that he would be the difference in the division.

The Eagles are more heartwarming because of all the preseason hype. I think must of us knew who the Redskins were and we knew they would fade away as the season progressed.

I hated the Skins about 1000000x more than Philthy, but then Reid went and made Michael Vick his starting QB. And NOTHING pissed me off more during the 2010 NFL season than the football world falling at Vick's feet. Then Reid & Co. scarfed up a bunch of FA's and the Super Bowl was over: Reid + Vick + Assumwah, et all.... CHAMPIONSHIP!

Anyway, I live two hours from DC so there will never be an NFL team that I despise more than the Redskanks, but they suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, and with the ridiculous hooplah surrounding the Dream Team it's been really easy to focus my true loathing Philthy's way. I have to admit, nothing has warmed my heart thus far this season than watching Michael Vick fail.

Eagles being locked into dog killer for eternity is also quite entertaining.

What was the deal he signed?

Is it one of those backloaded, inflated number things?

8/29/2011: Signed a six-year, $100 million contract. The deal contains $35.5 million guaranteed, including a $7 million signing bonus and all of Vick's first- and second-year base salaries and $3 million of his 2013 salary (for injury only). The sixth year voids if Vick participates in 35% of the Eagles' offensive snaps in any of the first five seasons, making the contract more realistically worth $80 million over five years. Another $3 million is available through incentives based on Super Bowl wins in 2011 and 2012, and playing time (77.5% of the regular season snaps). 2011: $10 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2012: $12.5 million, 2013: $15.5 million, 2014: $15 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2015: $14.5 million (+ $2 million roster bonus), 2016: $20 million (Dummy Year), 2017: Free Agent
